Buttery Maple-Cider Sweet Potatoes – Delicious flavors of maple syrup, apple cider, cinnamon, and plenty of butter makes this my absolute favorite sweet potato dish!
Roasted Garlic Hummus – I never thought I liked hummus, but an entire head of garlic roasted until sweet, golden, and creamy made even ME absolutely love this hummus!!
Herbed Corn – Super simple and quick side dish. Delicious with butter and dill and other spices!
Barbecue Baked Beans – These delicious baked beans are smokey and slightly spicy, and are incredibly easy. Everyone loves these things.
Sauteed Asparagus Parmesan – These are to die for. By far my favorite vegetable. If you’ve only had nasty overcooked asparagus before and think you don’t like it, you must try this. I promise you’ll love it!
Spaetzle– Homemade German noodles made with just flour, salt, egg, and milk. These are made with whole grain spelt, and are great! The perfect accompaniment with Schnitzel.
Easy Garlic Bread – The trick with this is finding bread you’re allowed to eat that you can use to make it – but if you do, you’ll love this!
Whole Grain Honey Cornbread – Cornmeal can controversial, but as long as it’s organic and stone ground you’re probably okay. (At least I am). And cornbread is the bomb, so that’s a relief!
Cheesy Broccoli Bites – Yummy. Diced broccoli, onions, bacon, and cheese in bite-sized balls with a creamy dipping sauce.
Marinated Potato Salad – Potatoes marinated in a tangy-sweet marinade, and just slightly creamy with a dollop or two of mayonnaise.
Fresh Fruit Salad – My personal preferences for the perfect fruit salad. Good with any meal, and a great dessert with some fresh whipped cream!
Balsamic Vinaigrette – we all simply adore this simple, creamy dressing!
Bruschetta Topping – Fresh tomatoes and onions steeped in hot garlicky olive oil. Great as a salad, on top of chicken, or on top of buttery garlic toast!
Spelt Biscuits with Maple Honey Butter – These are flaky and tender and more delicious than you can possibly imagine.
